I'm creating a beach themed bedroom and need some ideas!?

I want a lot of stuff I can make by myself. A cool thing I liked was making a mirror with sea shells and small candles. I need some awesome ideas from you guys.





Plus I loooove giraffes and I was wondering how i could incorporate them into my beach room.I'm creating a beach themed bedroom and need some ideas!?
paint a wall in a seaside scene with perhaps a giraffe on a surf board for fun. place a beach umbrella in a corner or perhaps just a half one as if it is coming out of the painted scene and perhaps hang a sunhat, bucket and spade for storing papers etc and/or other things off it which you could possibly make yourself. if you want a chair in the room have what is called a deck/beach chair or bean bags (brownish) that could be like rocks. for the floor have a rug of some sort that is like a beach towel. the mirror with shells is a great idea. what about a mobile of fish. if you can find a light cover that resembles a sun it would be good.

I love being creative and I want to be an interior designer when I grow up!!!





Okay so an Idea would be to have a loft bed, then on the legs, decorate some of it with sea shells, and then every once in a while you skip it and put a pic of you and your friend.





Oh yeah and then for the room you could color it light orange with a dark light beach sand color sorta of. Like but the orange on one wall and then put it on the parallel side of it, and do the same with the dark light beach sand color.





Then like another thing that you could do is use some wire and string it up in a corner in your room or across your room or something. And then what you do is take some other wire and string your a letter of your name through it, and string sea shells through it, so one letter is like decorated and then string the rest of the letters of your name through it.





Then for the giraffe, you could get a poster of a giraffe and decorate the borders with sea shells.





Oh yeah, if you don't get the loft bed, you could get a full size bed, with a head stand, and decorate the borders of it with sea shells.
I don't think you can logically add giraffes to your beach themed bedroom. Your idea about the mirror is great. You need pale blue, light ceamy tan, and white for your colors; a touch of black in the room will be grounding.





Paint your room pale blue; you could stripe one wall with white. Use a creamy shag rug to represent sand and add texture. Your furniture, or at least one piece, could be white or white washed. Other items can be brown or throw in a black item.





You want to just make a suggestion of a beach theme; if you carry it too far it'll look odd.





There aren't that many things you can make yourself.
for the giraffe thing- maybe you can paint on the wall a giraffe, and make it into a palm tree or something, like the neck is the tree bark and the head is sprouting leaves. its cute for a kids room
