From what I understand stimulus packages have already been distributed for improving infrastructure, just that those putting the actual plans together are dragging their feet.





I too remember the minimum wage days, and that was not increased by much in the state where Iive, and 1990 was the lst time I was able to afford health insurance. Glad you were lucky.





The health insurance problem as I see it is happening in some states but maybe not so much in other states so it's difficult to get those to agree on a healthplan if they aren't experiencing a problem. But it still has to be solved and pronto because of the expense and need. Seems one has to walk in the shoes of another person to see their situation. Are those shoes too small for the republicans to put on and walk around in them for a while?

*And bc you do have insurance, don't be surprised if you go into a hospital because your sick and then your insurance turns around and tells you they can't cover your expenses.

Because this ';socialist'; healthcare will help the poor who can't afford insurance. It's nice to see a president who cares about the ordinary working class American rather than the rich owners of big business or the middle class who only care about themselves.

Well the Bushes didn't improve the infrastructure either did they? That money was spent on defense. The bridges in Oklahoma are the worst in the nation and we have two major interstate highways going through them.
perhaps if you would be more open minded instead of listening only to those that have something against him no matter what he does and listen to what he is actually saying then things would be easier to understand...

If we would bring our troops home we would have money to spend on both. If something isn't done about health care soon it will be unavailable to many more.
